4‑core PVC flat submersible cable
The four‑core flat cable is similar to the three‑core design but contains an additional conductor, allowing it to supply three‑phase loads with a neutral or earth return. Its flat profile makes it ideal for narrow borewell installations.
Construction
Four stranded copper conductors laid parallel; individual cores insulated in flexible PVC; overall sheath of tough PVC; flat geometry simplifies installation in narrow wells.
Cable standards
Manufactured to IS 694 and IS 8130 requirements; comparable international standards include IEC 60227 and DIN VDE 0281.
Technical specification
Rated voltage ≈1100 V; temperature rating –15 °C to +70 °C/90 °C; available cross‑sections 1.5–16 mm²; insulation thickness and sheath thickness sized according to core area; current rating increases with conductor size.

Highly flexible; high abrasion, tear and oil resistance; excellent dielectric strength; long service life under continuous immersion; four cores allow three‑phase plus neutral applications.
Applications
Supplying power to three‑phase submersible pumps and underwater motors; suitable for irrigation, de‑watering and water supply in domestic, agricultural and industrial environments where the bore diameter is limited.
